I spent 11 years as a lead armorer and regulatory compliance specialist for a major outfitter serving military contracts before moving into private-sector training and advisory work. My focus is helping shooters understand the often-misunderstood intersection of mechanical precision and Title II/NFA regulations. These days, most of my writing and testing is done at my personal range outside Bozeman, where I can properly evaluate suppressors and SBRs without complaints from the neighbors.
